Accident, Sickness and Redundancy Cover

1. Accident and Sickness Cover

It is designed to pay a monthly amount if you can’t do your own job due to sickness or accident and will continue to do so for up to either 12 or 24 months until you are able to return to work. The amount of cover is usually set up to cover your mortgage and other related payments.

2. Unemployment Insurance Cover

You can include unemployment cover on the policy should you be employed or self employed.

If you’re employed and you are made involuntarily unemployed by your employer then you can claim under this cover.

If you are self-employed, the unemployment cover will pay you if your business becomes insolvent, you are declared bankrupt or your business goes into liquidation.

Unemployment cover pays out for a maximum of 12 months for each claim and for a total of 36 months over the life of the plan.

Unemployment cover will match the accident & sickness cover chosen and can’t be taken on its own.
